My wife and I stayed here for a week and were blown away by the quality of the room and the exceptional service provided by Anand and Amma. The room itself was incredible. It was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. We particularly loved the comfortable bed and the large windows that let in plenty of ntural light. But what really made our stay special was the exceptional service provided by Anand and Amma. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They treated us like family, and we felt that we were in good hands throughout our stay. Amma, in particular, was a standout. We arrived after a long journey and were exhausted, but she took care of us like we were her own children. She made sure we got a good night's sleep and was always there to help us with anything we needed. She even went out of her way to help us plan our sightseeing trips and gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants. The hotel is in a great location too. It's close to some of the best attractions in the area, including beautiful parks, ancient temples, and local markets. We loved exploring the area and found that the hotel was the perfect base for our adventures. Overall, Anand and Amma were amazing people who truly cared about their guests and went out of their way to make sure that they had a great experience. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights for INR 12000. At this price we expect at least good room service, proper rooms and washrooms etc. But here we got almost nothing. The rooms were tiny. Room service was pathetic and we had to keep the geyser switched on for at least 40 minutes to get hot water. In our other room the hot water tap was broken. Water was not coming with full force. We complained about that and got nothing in return. There weren't any cupboards in the room. No space to hang your moist towels, clothes, no space to put your dirty shoes and only one charging point. We had to use a tv plug point to charge another mobile. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant so we had to order from swiggy. The location is so confusing that the local delivery persons were asking twice before coming there. Generally at this price we get 2 water bottles a day (and much more than that...). But don't expect that here. There wasn't even a drinking water dispenser in the common area. Ooty is really great but this hotel stay definitely lessened our tour experience. Literally want to give a negative rating. The good ratings that you can see on apps like goibibo, mmt seem to be fake. There is nothing good about this place. Please book your stay anywhere but here.
